Using WH3 MM Causes In-Ability To Join Multiplayer Battles/Campaigns

Open Azraeel opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

When using mods on the WH3 MM It shows that our modlist are incompatible even when importing the modlist and everything, we've deleted mods redownloaded, verified files, etc

However it worked when we used the default WH3 Launcher with the EXACT same modlist and load order

Does one of you have skip intro movies enabled? It shows up as a mod in the .txt file.

I don't think so

I've been trying to get multiplayer to work with this mod manager since 4.1 released, and I've found a workaround for the modlist showing as incompatible. In the WH3 root folder there's "used_mods.txt" that the mod manager appears to edit, if the contents of that file don't match exactly between all players in multiplayer it will show as incompatible. By making sure that the mods appear in the text file in the same order for all players, it should work. I have tested this both with skip intro movies enabled and disabled.
