I can confirm that this only happens when CachingStrategy is set to RetainElement and when you set it to RecycleElement the problem is gone hope this help someone

@MartyIX Thanks for your help, i added the PackageSource you pointed out to my Nuget.Config file and everything works fine and my project now gets compiled. I tested the DataTrigger...

@Sergio0694 @needledrag I ended up overriding OnNavigating method in AppShell.xaml.cs and determining the source page i'm navigating from, at that point i completely clear the Messenger Queue by calling Reset...
