If the GEDCOM is sourced from Ancestry, allow the user to enter their Ancestry TreeID, so that an additional column could be appended to the exported excels, such that when a user clicked on the generated URL, they would be taken directly to the appropriate person in their Ancestry tree.

The same could be added for Geni.com in the form of https://www.geni.com/people/index/<ID>

Can you give an example of the Ancestry URL that it should take you to please.

Here's one example, that links to an person on the ancestry web-site

https://www.ancestry.co.uk/family-tree/person/tree/160715853/person/ 392099682444/facts

(either www.ancestry.co.uk or www.ancestry.com) Ancestry TreeID = 160715853 Ancestry Person ID = 392099682444

start of GEDCOm

0 HEAD 1 SUBM @SUBM1@ 1 SOUR Ancestry.com Family Trees (so if the source isn't ANCESTRY - no need to generate 'ancestry links') 2 NAME Ancestry.com Member Trees 2 VERS 2022.08 2 _TREE Horsman Pullan Snow Schofield 3 RIN 160715853 (ancestry TreeID)

1 OBJE @O144@ 0 @I392099682444@ INDI * ancestry add an 'I' prefix, when they export the person ID *
