expand to external had drive not working

Hi, the expand to external hard drive isnt working with the newest version of retropie v4.7.1. It detects the drive but doesnt read it as NTFS anymore. The drive im using is formated properly and it works with the expand to external drive on the older stretch version of retropie. I was wondering if there is any fix for this? Also the install power button script no longer works with reetopie 4.7.1.
