Still Active?

Open johannesschobel opened this issue 5 years ago • 14 comments

I just wanted to ask, if this project is still active.. Last commits are from 2018, and there are a few open PRs.. in the issues are no comments from the original maintainer...

All the best

@SeyZ can you add maintainers please? this is a solid library and sad to see it die of inactivity

@SeyZ I'd be happy to chip in.

I'm also happy to help maintain this! Can write some PRs first if you want to trust my code quality.

I've emailed @SeyZ about adding maintainers months ago. I've sent him a few emails, no response. I would recommend moving away from this package.

I would also be happy to join the contributor team

Well it sounds like we should really fork it and merge the PRs. I'll see what I can do.

In this case I would highly vote for a rewrite in typescript.. What do you all think?

johannesschobel avatar Dec 02 '19 13:12 johannesschobel

Actually I believe someone has already done that: https://github.com/mohuk/ts-jsonapi. Which would be fine except that I don't think that's maintained either.

It should be possible to merge both repos, but it wouldn't be fun

multimeric avatar Dec 02 '19 13:12 multimeric

Don't use this repo, it is not maintained

@johannesschobel Have you found good alternatives?

@OlexandrPopov Have you found good alternatives?

@sp90 @iancrowther @aalimovs @arthurtyukayev So support for this library has been down. I've been recently going around the other serializers checking for people who are looking for a better serializer. Over the past few days I've designed a resource-recursive, typescript/javascript library for serializing the entire JSON:API spec.

@jun-sheaf Thanks. I'll definitely will check it out. Though, for now I stick with this library. Despite the fact it is not maintained it does the job.
