[BUG] badges are buggy, chat gets wiped a lot on page load, random reloads

Current Behavior
When using Twitch regularly, a lot of the time the badges (e.g. mod/twitch prime) do not always show up. Sometimes refreshing the page helps, but sometimes it doesn't.
It's extremely inconsistent, and I am not sure how exactly to reproduce it other than to just browse twitch and wait for it to happen.

Another problem Im finding, since I'm having to reload the page is that the previously sent chat messages don't show up. They partially do at page load... until... 7TV hijacks the chat instance and wipes the entire thing to a blank slate and then begins to only capture new messages that come in.
Another problem is having is when having multiple twitch streams open, or attempt to open multiple. If one Twitch stream is open, and then I open another in a new tab, once 7TV hijacks the chat on that new tab, all instances of 7TV across my browser are force reloaded.
Expected Behavior
Badges to show up. No chat wipes. No chat reloads when opening new tabs.
Steps To Reproduce
Use Twitch normally.
