Emote Scale broken

Since the big update, some emotes in chat are larger than normal, even when I have emote scale set to 1.00x.

I also noticed that this happens after I preview the emote with mouse hover:

The only difference between these two emotes is their rendered sizes:

The normal one has 28x28:

And the big one (after hover) has 37x37:

I confirm that this issue still exists. I can replicate it by hovering over a twitch emote. The next time I use the twitch emote it is at the larger size in the chat line. I'm on a 1440p monitor if that is a clue.
