notification and incoming sms not hidden (bug?)

Hi On my Samsung S7 with Android Pie, I just upgraded to v1.9 (I had not used Finder for a while, using Tasker instead). Testing Finder with the two options "Mute sound / Mute incoming tracking SMS" activated, I was surprised to actually get 2 notifications (from Finder and from SMS app) and to see the incoming and outcoming SMS in the sms app... Did I miss something?

Hi! Yes, app don't delete sms. Every request is displayed in notifications.. Muting only disable sound of incoming message for approximately 200 ms Or you need something else?

Hi. Actually, I was thinking and hoping that SMS trafic could be hiden by the app, thus hiding the fact that Finder is actually working. Else, in case of stolen phone, the theft will easily notice the SMS. Could this be added as an option?

About the "mute incoming", I just retry and actually, I get the sound+visible notification just before the phone actually get to mute. So that may be a race between two 'process'

I can made setting for disabling notification of finder, but after kitkat 4.4 only default sms app can write to sms content provider. There is only one default sms app in system and I don't want to affect the operation of a normal SMS application https://android-developers.googleblog.com/2013/10/getting-your-sms-apps-ready-for-kitkat.html
