Application is crashing on start up

Application is crashing on startup, system is set to japanese. Stack was provided by user. stack.txt

We (user and me) meanwhile found out that this does not happen if he removes his ! at the beginning of his username and the issue happens again when adding ! or ? to the start of the username.
