[Feature] multiple attendees for one appointment
Hello, I am using your really nice app to book video call appointments for teachers. They make sessions with 4-6 students in parallel, so I have to add many sessions.
Unfortunately, one planning can not do this, as appointments can not be parallel. I have to add one slot - reenter "add appointments" - add another slot. What makes it complicated, is that the app jumps out of the calendar view after every confirmation popup.
Is it possible to either allow parallel slots in one planning - or at least remain within the calender view to use the "Add to Calender" button several times? what do you think?
Making one appointment available for multiple attendees, may be some kind of Maximum attendees per appointment option. Good idea for upcoming releases.

Hi, I am not sure if this would be an easy approach, because then you would have to handle several status/icons per appointment in the calendar and it might get very complex.
I think allowing parallel appointments in the editor screen would be a quicker solver
Ah I see, remain in the "Add Appointments" view would be the easiest option here. Maybe next release than.
yes. or disable a feature you now have: when you have to appointments and move the upper one down, it will automatically also move the lower one as an overlapping is restricted.
So it might be one way to remain in the "Add Appointment" or even more comfortable to not have the parallel-blocking. because then everything could even be done in one Calendar Push. Whatever would be easier to implement - if you would like to go that way actually...

This can be an option in the future releases, but as a workaround for now one can make consecutive appointments and than "Darg and Drop" them in the Calendar App.

On this point, I want to say that I am very interested. I am the deputy director of a CS Department in France and we have to plan the lockdown exit strategy. Our department counts about 180 members. This means to plan on a half-day basis the maximum number of persons present in the department. The idea is to use our nextcloud server with a calendar for department attendance. For us setting the Max Number of attendees would be just perfect. Would it be easy to do it? We can also help.
@castagnag Unfortunately it's not so easy to implement correctly and in the backwards compatible way.
The problem can be resolve by adding new slots on the same slot, this solution is okay for a few people, because, you'll need to add 5 times, on the same slot, to have at the end 5 times the same hour slot.

Can you please explain me how I can allow 2 People booking an Appointment at the same time?
I used a weekly template and overlapping events which I named Slot 1 and Slot 2. They are both shown in the "Choose Time & Date"-Dropdown but when one of the Slots is booked the other Slot disappears.

Are Overlapping events allowed already? Is there an ETA on when it may work? I just tried to add two events with different names to the same timeslot and that didn't work for both "Weekly template" and "External" mode. I am using version 1.9.3. In both versions both events showed up for booking, but after booking one of them both disappeared from further booking. As our use case consists of up to four people per time slot this would be a very necessary change to be able to use it. Thanks already :)
