Selenium IDE on Win/Chrome doesn't save the project

Open danksearle opened this issue 1 year ago • 4 comments

🐛 Bug Report

I create a project, create some tests, and save. Then I make more tests and click save again - it seems to forget the project file that was already saved, and it shows a 'Save as' interface, starting from a different system location. So, saving changes is quite cumbersome, I have to hunt the project file and then I have to confirm that yes, I want to override the existing file.

Expected behavior

Clicking the save button should simply save changes to the current project file.

Environment

OS: Windows 11 Pro, 22H2 Selenium IDE Version: 3.17.2 Browser: Chrome Browser Version: Version 114.0.5735.134 (Official Build) (64-bit)

@danksearle - That's a link to the nightly releases page if you'd like to download now. We're up to version x.40something in the ide I believe.
