Support for SeaMonkey Browser?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to install Selenium IDE add on SeaMonkey 2..30 (mozilla-based browser)
2. It downloads and tries to install
3. Fails to install saying that the addon is not compatible with SeaMonkey

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Selenium version: N/A
OS: Windows 7 Enterprise
Browser:  SeaMonkey
Browser version: 2.30

Since SeaMonkey shares much of the same code with Firefox and other Mozilla products
why doesn't the Selenium addon work with it?   In other cases I've seen this as simply
needing to have the correct 'meta information' in the addon installer to allow it to
be installed on SeaMonkey.
