Selenium not supporting on pure IPv6 environments

Steps to simulate:

1. Ran Selenium hub on IPv6 following is error:

We are tried couple of things but results were unsuccessful

1.  Tried to configured VMware network adapter with IPv6 Environment
2.  Tried to disable the VMware network adapter  
3.  Tried to move Client & Server on IPv4 environment and kept cluster in IPv6 environment
but didn’t worked for us ( Due to Nat64 limitation – routing of IPv4 to IPv6 not possible)
4.  Tried to assign loopback address to Client machine for IPv4 & Ipv6


What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The client daemon should be run on pure Ipv6 environment without any error/issue and
the valid IP get registered on selenium server daemon.



Selenium version: 2.44
OS: Fedora
Browser: Chrome
Browser version: 38.0.2125.111

Please suggest if any workaround is available to run client/server daemons on pure
IPv6 environments
