Discord bot token

I just made an Github account to ask this. But is there a way to use this program through the discord OAuth2 instead of using my email and password? I'm not that great at coding, but if you are able give some workaround for windows / Linux i would appreciate it greatly. Sorry if this question has be asked before.

I'm wondering this as well. I feel like it would be very convenient, especially if self-bots are prohibited. We can basically only use this program once every so often in order to keep our account from getting banned

I had to do a bit of digging because the token directions had changed, but as of right now, the token directions here seemed to work, except I had to look in 'experimental-application' in the last step

there is no way that works thats what OAuth2 is for to prevent that thats why you need to use the token
