Add-linking all comics in folder or subfolder

This app requires me to add all my comics one by one, file by file, and the first option is even to duplicate the file on my phone's storage when they are perfectly ornganized on my sd card.

There should be a way to specify a directory and have all comic files within it be scanned and recognized by the app. If the internal structure and subfolders could be kept as well it would be awesome.

Inspiration taken from InstSoft's ComicScreen, an app that I use for many years.

Not sure if you are using a different application to select your files, but I find it easy enough to select a folder of comics with the default android file picker.

' + ' -> Link -> folder of comics -> kebab menu -> select all -> select

Yeah, but that only adds one folder's contents, at the same level as other folders' contents, and if I later add comics to that folder they aren't added to the app. That's what I mean by selecting a directory rather than one or even several files. So, two aspects : keeping the original file hierarchy, and/or browsing the files in real time rather than only when adding a file. I really suggest you try ComicScreen.
