Overview

The wearable assistant is primarily designed for elderly dementia patients in elder care centers or home environments. It aims to assist caregivers in monitoring and supporting patients’ safety and memory-related activities.

Featured Functions:

  1. Face recognition using a spectacle-mounted ESP32-S3 XIAO and camera module to identify familiar individuals.
  2. A wristband-based control unit with real-time clock for reminders, GPS for live tracking, and GSM/Wi-Fi connectivity for alerts.
  3. Personalized audio reminders through a DFPlayer Mini for medication and daily routines.
  4. Cloud-based caregiver dashboard (via Node-RED/Blynk) to monitor patient activity, location, and schedules.
