Wio-SX1262 Sensor Node with XIAO ESP32S3 not communicating with Wio-SX1262 Gateway (single channel) on TTN
Hi,
I’m trying to set up a simple LoRaWAN test environment using your hardware, but I’ve encountered an issue I can’t resolve.
I’m using the following hardware:
Sensor Node: XIAO ESP32S3 + Wio-SX1262, , following your example (https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/wio_sx1262_xiao_esp32s3_for_lora_sensor_node/)
Gateway: Wio-SX1262 module connected to another XIAO ESP32S3 acting as a single-channel LoRa gateway, following your example (https://github.com/Seeed-Studio/Wio-LoRaWAN-Gateway)
The gateway is correctly connected to The Things Network (TTN) — I see uplinks from the gateway in TTN Console, and the connection appears stable.
However, the sensor node is not sending any uplinks to the gateway. Despite being only 1 meter apart, the node’s messages are not received by the gateway.
What I've confirmed: Both node and gateway are using 868.1 MHz, SF7, BW125 — so the frequency plan and data rate match LoRaWAN settings are correct
What I see: The gateway never receives any uplinks from the node, even though the node believes it is transmitting.
Gateway logs show only occasional receive gateway status packets but never any packets from the node.
Is there a known incompatibility using Wio-SX1262 + XIAO ESP32S3 as both node and gateway in the same environment?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
