PlatformIO Support for BLE (SiLabs Stack) on XIAO MG24 Sense

Hi there,

I’ve been working with the XIAO MG24 Sense board and appreciate the detailed tutorials available for both BLE development using the SiLabs Bluetooth stack in the Arduino IDE and for getting started with PlatformIO.

However, I’ve hit a roadblock trying to combine these two: developing BLE functionality (via the SiLabs stack) within the PlatformIO environment. While the individual tutorials are helpful, there’s no clear guidance on how to integrate BLE support into a PlatformIO project for this board.

Request: Could you provide support or documentation for using the SiLabs BLE stack with the XIAO MG24 Sense in PlatformIO? Also, any example projects or setup instructions that bridge this gap would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone in the community has successfully enabled BLE support in PlatformIO for this board, I would also love to hear how you achieved it.

The idea of enabling the SiLabs BLE stack in the PlatformIO environment is certainly a noteworthy suggestion. While we currently don’t have plans in this area, we may consider such feedback when updating our documentation and development resources in the future.
