Inquiry about the Blazer Laser Scanning Simulation Project and Access to Materials
Dear Sebastian,
I recently read your paper “Blazer: Laser Scanning Simulation using Physically Based Rendering” (arXiv:2104.05430v1), which I found highly inspiring. I noticed that the GitHub repository mentioned in the paper (https://github.com/SebastianGrans/Blazer) is no longer accessible.
I am currently working on a research project related to 3D reconstruction and laser line scanning, and your virtual laser scanner system implemented in Blender would be extremely valuable for benchmarking and dataset generation.
Could you please let me know if the implementation, dataset, or related materials are still available, or if there are any updated links or follow-up works that I could refer to?
Additionally, if you have any recommendations for replicating the setup or extending it (e.g., modifying the rendering parameters or camera calibration), I would be very grateful for your suggestions.
Thank you very much for your time and contribution to this field.
Best regards,
