Substantial refactoring?

Hi, I discovered your blog and scripts some months ago — very cool, especially for my commute home with only intermittent 3G-data coverage. I decided I could refactor some pieces, so forked this into https://github.com/mexisme/git-cache (originally @powershop, but I've since left that organisation) and ended-up doing some substantial refactoring; I thought you may be interested based on comments in the "Development" section of the README.
