This is invalid Pony code that the compiler isn't gracefully catching.

Can you build a debug version of the runtime and compiler and run the program again under a debugger and report back with a backtrace?

What do you mean by global? The enum is confined to cycle.c.

Please post the code that you are reporting. It's not completely clear what changes are required to replicate the issue.

Kyle can you please post the complete code that crashes rather than a description of changes to code that is required to cause the situation?
