Quality settings

Kudos on a great little app :D It would be nice to have some control over the quality of the recording. Nothing too detailed, but maybe a slider or 2-3 settings going from small file to practically lossless. Also control over FPS would be great. I always record at 60, but some people might prefer 24/25/29.7 if they are mixing their recordings with cam/live footage.

Adding a variable FPS option, would be simple. But with the design, it is not that simple, especially following the GNOME HIG. I might consider the FPS option, while the quality may be set as smart, wherein it will automatically pick a quality depending on the capability of your device.

I do recommend RecApp. It has both these options.

Well if you are considering adding a preferences window, FPS could go there. It's not something one would change often, just set it to fit your usual video workflow and be done.
