Sounds like #671 and #578. I'm unsure of the cause but I can fix it being mistaken as the user clicking the cancel button.

Closing due to stale

That error occurs when 95% or more of the downloaded parts are missing or corrupted, indicating that either the VOD is heavily corrupted or something went horribly wrong while downloading....

It was probably just a temporary thing regarding Twitch servers. Happens all the time.
