Add mentions of TurboWarp

Open Hans5958 opened this issue 3 years ago • 4 comments

Something on the lines of "try it now online on TurboWarp," and/or an addition of TurboWarp on the Install section on the index.

And some other additions on other pages such as docs and stuff.

@WorldLanguages Pinging you here since you responded in there

Do you have any ideas on adding the mention of TurboWarp on the index page? I'm kinda stumbled here.

@Hans5958 Regarding mentioning TurboWarp in the index page - what's the exact goal? Is it:

  1. To let readers know that TurboWarp, which is very popular, implements our addons?
  2. To let readers know that they can use editor addons online through TurboWarp?
  3. Both?

I'm inclined towards the second one, like "you can try out some addons on TW", but whatever is better for you tho

I was about to say that I can't think of a place to mention TurboWarp within the front page. But maybe it can be added to the open-source section of the index.

The wording might vary - but the idea is to mention that Scratch modifications are free to take our open-source code and implement them into their software (following the license, of course). End-users reading should also understand that TurboWarp takes addons from TurboWarp, and not the other way. TurboWarp users that didn't know about its "addons" section might want to search it after reading this. And, possibly, users that don't know about TurboWarp might click the link and experience some editor addons themselves (TurboWarp quite a few addons by default) The link should direct to: https://turbowarp.org/editor
