[discussion] Screenshots and metadata
The purpose of this ticket is to discuss the contents of the screenshots and metadata that will be added in app stores like Google Play and F-Droid.
For reference, the Google Play listing is here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.scratchclient4.itchy
Did you have a specific thing you wanted to discuss about the screenshots and metadata @locness3?
A few things I would like to address :
- I like what you're doing with the mockups and designs, really makes it stand out and look great.
- There should be a screenshot dedicated to reading and replying to messages - but it might just be that this not implemented yet, perhaps you have planned to do it.
- "a team of young developers with a heart for the Scratch platform" : I disagree with this statement, I don't really like how this website and its development works, and this is exactly why I'm happy to work on a 3rd party client :)
- Please add a "contributions are very welcome" somewhere in the description.
- Speaking of contributions, we should make these screenshots and metadata part of this repository, following the format used by the fastlane supply tool (which we could use as well), so they can be picked up by F-Droid and potentially automatically uploaded to Google Play via that fastlane thing, as well as to make it possible to collaboratively work on them and accept contributions.
I will create a separate issue for the last point.

Thank you!

Yeah, I'll work on that soon.

When referring to the "platform", I'm not saying that I love the website - I'm saying I love the interactions and people in the community. I wouldn't be working on a client if I didn't like the people who use it. Perhaps changing that to "community" would work better?

Good idea!

Definitely, although my remark was intended as humor.
