Bug (request?) - webmail transactions fail with large numbers of messages

(This issue was imported from Gitea) seth on February 1, 2022: Right now in webmail it appears that I can't move more than about 2000 messages from one folder to another (I get an error).

Also, in the settings / folders, I think "empty" should bypass Trash. When I emptied my archive folder, it appeared to empty 1000 messages into trash and then it returned an error. I then emptied the trash and that empty mostly succeeded, but then the trash gets filled up again 1000 messages at a time from the remaining messages in archive until both are empty.

If there are hard limits to the number of transactions, could we opt into higher ceilings?
