Option to choose european datacenter

Open andreas-sudo opened this issue 8 months ago • 4 comments

In the FAQ its stated that:

"Our servers are currently located in the AWS US-East-1 region, somewhere in northern Virginia."

Would it be too much to ask for an option to have data in europe. Preferable the EU. Eg. scaleway, UpCLoud, gridscale or other? A premium in that regard is of course expected.

Agreed, I'd be more than ok with paying extra to have my data located in the EU.

Yeah, agreed. GDPR and privacy is generally better for EU locations anyhow, and would be a brilliant idea to also help with appealing to security nuts who use Proton Mail and Tuta for similar things as Purelymail is designed for!
