How reliable are purelymail services?
I'm considering using purelymail for my org. I really like the way it expose technical stuff like raw sieve script, tls enforcement, etc. In other hand, using my test account, everytime I miss a feature I find an unsolved issue on github from years ago.
Example, look at #73. 3 years already to add ipv6 support to a service that is already running and stable.
A more recent example, the dmarc bug at #237, opened at aug/2024 and no response from support. I actually solved it by adding my own TXT record instead, which I think should be the default approach on docs. I don't see the need to a call to the purelymail domain for this, as it just adds another layer of potential problems.
I have my own server where I could run my own postfix, and in fact that's how it worked for a long time. The only reason I pay for email services is to make sure they will work when I have failures, as I don't have a backup server available, then email alerts for such failures are a crucial point in my org.
Maybe I didn't understand something. I would like to know how reliable this service is?

Kind of a target, but not a burning one. It seems rare to not have IPV4. Opening up IPV6 leads to exciting new abuse opportunities in the larger address space where burning an IPV4 to mindlessly try to crack auth was actually a little expensive.

Honestly, didn't see it. Only recently realized my Github notifications were going to a box I didn't check.

Generally fairly reliable in terms of uptime. Not that fast at fixing anything.
