Ubuntu 24.04 LTS not compatible or buggy w/ WebDAV and CalDav?

Trying connect Purelymail WebDAV/CalDAV accounts to Ubuntu (in Settings, aka gnome-control-center) results in Ubuntu throwing errors. This is likely to be a Ubuntu issue, as I'm able to use every other piece of compatible software without issue (Nautilus, Thunderbird, Evolution).

I've opened a bug with Ubuntu, but it might also be helpful if there is any additional information that Purelymail can provide (from logs?). I don't think that any connection or request is even made, given the error showing up in syslog - seems to be something in the GUI, or the text handling logic.

LMK if this is possible.
