Looks like that worked! No reports from Circle CI on a98d2c3. Going to try adding some temporary commits with front-end and back-end changes and see if the Circle CI builds...

Mmmnope. Failed with "ENV variable `CIRCLE_USER_TOKEN` is empty. Please provide a user token." I'll come back to this tomorrow.

@zerolab I feel like I heard some reason for why we want to continue to do some stuff on CircleCI, but I can't pinpoint what that was.

All comments addressed except for the allowlist vs. blocklist and rebased on main. Looks like the CircleCI check is working as expected. Let me know what you think about that...
