ahoycli - Windows Issues

To continue on this a few years later..

Quick backstory: I'm the creator of ahoy. When it was first made 10 years ago, only OSX and Linux people like myself were using it. The irony being that of course for the last 6 years I've been doing mostly game-related research and development so now I'm almost exclusively a Windows user (though all my cli work is still through gitbash).

So, I'm almost certain the issues people had earlier on windows (see prior ticket) is just related to ahoy itself on Windows that we have to fix and then we can hopefully close this ticket for good.

There's a new v2.5.0 release of Ahoy out just now which incorporates @frankcarey 's Windows fix, so hopefully this now fixes things for Scoop users?
