Fix "back" button of few browsers (like Safari)
Sometimes the "go back" button of the browser is not working, and we cannot figure out why. This is how to reproduce the bug.
- Click on Section 2.4.4 from the left menu (i.e. https://quantumalgorithms.org/chapter-intro.html#modified-hadamard-test )
- Scroll to the bottom of the page
- Click reference C.8 in the appendix
- Press go back in your browser.
In Safari, pressing back won't bring you to the end of the page.
Any idea on how to fix this is appreciated.
Perhaps @Ikiga1 has more detail on this. I can reproduce the bug non-deterministically. :(
@Scinawa @Ikiga1 after press back button on browser, i able to go back 2.4.4 . is that the expected behavior?
Hello @cometta ! As we said, this bug appears in some browsers and not others. What are you using? It might also affect the presence of the bu if you are clicking a theorem or a reference.
tested on safari and firefox, no issue. if you can capture a short video would be good
Well, I tested on my system, After I go to C. 8 refrence and press back button it just go to previous page and takes some time to go to bottom of page automatically. But it goes to bottom page. I don't think there is any problem in any code, it's just that the latex and scripts that are written for math equations takes some time to load on website.
Dear all! I confirm that I also struggle to reproduce the bug. However, this is the video of the bug (the browser is Safari):
