KeyError: "'editionNumber' not defined in section 0" on CFSR grib files

I'm trying to read Climate Forecast System Reanalysis (CFSR) grib files and getting the KeyError: "'editionNumber' not defined in section 0" error. I'm guessing is a grib definition problem. When using grib_dump I get the following:

***** FILE: /Volumes/RV_Passport/CFSR/vertical_wind/197901010000_vertical_wind_pgbh.grb2
ECCODES ERROR : grib_parser: syntax error at line 18 of /Users/raulvalenzuela/miniconda2/share/grib_api/definitions/grib2/section.0.def
ECCODES ERROR : ecCodes Version: 2.8.0
#==============   MESSAGE 1 ( length=-9999 )               ==============
ECCODES ERROR : Key/value not found

Is there any way I can fix this?

Hi @rvalenzuelar, we're sorry we weren't able to help you with this at the time - it's rather tricky when it's a problem outside iris-grib itself. Are you still having trouble with this? Is there a solution you could share with the community? Thanks
