Please test this: Kextless USB port Mapping

Hey guys,

I have just got myself into creating an SSDT for the USB-Port mapping so we don't need any kexts for USB anymore.

This has major benefits, as it will work with macOS Updates and no matter which SMBIOS (iMac20,x; iMacPro1,1...) you are using.

Can you please test if USB is working for you as it should?

Please keep in mind that not all USB2/USB3 functionality is available on every port. I had to disable some to stay within the 15 port limit.

I just did it with an SSDT instead of an kext.

Tested USB3 & USB-C front & back and all seems to be working. I need to track down a USB2 drive to test that next... might be a bit.

Nice! Can you make a SSDT with all USB2 and USB3 available, so we can compare and decide which to keep on our own, please?

In the SSDT you will find all Ports available on this port with a description which is enabled/disabled. Should be enough

I'm using the latest version of the EFI with 11.6.1 and I only have 3 USB ports on the Mobo backplate working. HS07 and SS07 are green but none of the Blue or Yellow ports are active. What could be causing this?

i tried to modify your ssdt to enable both rear 2 usb ports, everything goes except port 10, can you tell me what i'm doing wrong SSDT-USB-Ports-Z490-VisionD.aml.zip ?
