Bluetooth turns off after sleep & randomly sometimes during a session
Has happened since I upgraded to Big Sur months ago, I kept asking on the FB groups but never got a response from anyone. I'm always running the latest EFI from here on an identical spec machine.
LIke the title says, not every time but I'd say 50% after an over night sleep the keyboard and mouse won't work and I can't disable or re-enable Bluetooth within settings, only a reboot fixes it. I have only a couple of times had the Bluetooth stop working mid-session. I.e. I'm working and it just randomly stopped, sometimes it would stop temporarily, sometimes it wouldn't come back at all, reboot fixes.
Bluetooth option does not disappear from Settings or menu bar yet all Bluetooth devices simply stop working so I always have to have a wired keyboard and mouse attached. A reboot always fixes the issue.
Logitech MX Keys for Mac & MX Master 3 mouse, plus Apple magic mouse.
Any thoughts? I've tried googling and checking that they say to check, but I'm stuck.
same bluetooth device issue with OC 0.7.3
.
Is that a question or a statement? I've switched, for the moment to using the Logitech Unify dongle and it's been working perfectly.
I'll upgrade to 0.7.3 and see if that helps, I'm on 0.7.2.
Still having the issue, it went away for a while after upgrading to 0.7.4 now, after a few days the Bluetooth stopped so mid session I'll just switch to the Logitech Unify dongle, then that stops working. Restarted and the Bluetooth came on then just stopped within a few minutes. Happy to provide whatever info and test anything you can suggest!
Hi all, still having issues. I connected my Bose QC Earbuds and the audio is really patchy, cutting in and out. I've googled for a solution but can't seem to find anything or any fixes. Any help would be gratefully received. Every time it cuts out my mouse and keyboard stop working.
