Opencore 0.6.8 - With Custom USB Kext, Boot is slower

Open gtrooper opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

Anyone noticed that after exporting a custom Kext for USB in Z490 from Hackintool, the boot is at least 7 seconds slower than using SSDT-EC-USBX.aml + SSDT-UIAC-USB-Z490-VISIOND-ALTERNATIVE-3.aml + USBInjectAll.kext ? It seems everything else working fine. Can anyone explain if there is any benefit of using a custom Kext for USB Versus the "Old Way" ?

Thanks mueex, but I thought with the newer config’s it wasn’t using alternate usb, or inject all kext. Only one setup? Right?

Or was I supposed to use Hackintool to modify these files? Sorry I'm still somewhat new to this whole process.

I keep getting this error on boot after every shutdown along with slow OS. Anyone have any ideas why? Switched back to SSDT-EC-USBX.aml + SSDT-UIAC-USB-Z490-VISIOND-ALTERNATIVE-3.aml + USBInjectAll.kext and now the OS is no longer sluggish. But now other boot errors and still getting long shutdowns with errors.
