Show 2 pages side by side in PdfView?

I would like to be able to show 2 pages side by side at a time, as in a book, with the space between the two pages in the middle, and horizontal scrolling.

I have tried to make scrolling horizontal and set viewportFraction to 0.5, but then the active page is centered and the other one is to the side of it.

Is it possible to show 2 pages like in a book?
