Display server issues detection issues on KDE Neon running wayland

Sometimes ClipCascade uses xwayland and sometimes it uses wl-clipboard I would much rather it uses wl-clipboard all the time, but I can't seem to find a way to make this behavior consistant.

This is a log entry when it uses xwayland

Is there something I can do for force wl-clipboard or someway to make x-clip unusable for ClipCascade?
