keep jpg format during batch process

Hello, i have a lot of jpg to treat and he converted a first batch to png format (that are a lot more bigger), i did a batch of around 8000 photos and the total size of them as gone from around 5go to 35 go, that must take much more time to process because of the conversion (he took around 4 hours to treat the 8000 files), and second i have to reconvert them to jpg with acdsee, thank god it can batch the process pretty quickly, but if there is a way to skip the conversion to png, i will be interested to know if there is an option, thank you.
