I don't know if anyone else has tried this? I'm running elementary OS (Ubutu 18.04) and it starts up OK but fails when ever you tried to interact with anything but the keyboard. I'm unsure if there's another cause though.

You ever find any solution to this? I've got their FX and V collection, anything with knobs or sliders that comes with tooltips come with a freeze. On GNOME, you get nothing but on FVWM you can see the popup manager attempt to spawn the tooltip with a freeze.

On Reaper and Bitwig, using the embedded UI stops these freezes. Unfortunately I'm unsure how to catch an error using Bitwig's vst tester :(
