Extra flag in README file for Spanish translation
Honestly, why are we even using flags in the first place? We could have the name of the language in it's native form instead, e.g
Read this in other languages: 한국어, Française, Íslenska, Español, Pусский, Українська, Magyar, Português, 日本語
~~There is no point trying to be "inclusive", otherwise you'll have trouble when it comes to the arabic language, just like how you felt the need to add your own flag for the Spanish language (no offense).~~ Edit: you are removing a flag, not adding one, my bad.
Same for Greek (if it had a README translation), we could have the Greek flag, but then a Cypriot could come and say they'd like their flag to be there as well, since they also speak the same language.
And at the end of the day, if you require the flag to know which language is which, you probably can't even read the translated README of that language in the first place.
I couldn't agree more with you. The same will happen with French (France, Cameroon, Benin, etc.) and Portuguese (Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, etc.).
It makes more sense to just use the name of the language in its original form, just like you said in the previous comment.
