[Feature Request]: Add Built-In Bypass Plugin (VPN, etc.) for Korean Users
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I use the latest version of YouTube Music (Application).
- [x] I have searched the issue tracker for a feature request that matches the one I want to file, without success.
Problem Description
In Korea, YouTube Music is only accessible to users with a YouTube Premium subscription, making it unavailable for many potential users. This forces users to rely on external VPNs or other workarounds to bypass the region restrictions, leading to a fragmented and inconvenient experience.
Proposed Solution
Implement a built-in bypass plugin that automatically circumvents the region restrictions without requiring the user to set up a separate VPN. The plugin could include a simple toggle in the settings, enabling users to activate the bypass feature (or built-in VPN functionality) seamlessly, thereby improving the overall user experience for those affected by regional limitations.
Alternatives Considered
Current workarounds involve manually configuring and using third-party VPN services or other bypass methods. While these can be effective, they are cumbersome and not integrated into the app, leading to a less streamlined user experience.
Additional Information
This feature request is intended to enhance accessibility for users in regions like Korea where YouTube Music usage is limited by geographic restrictions.
