App Stops Playing After Windows Shuts Down Screen/Goes to Sleep

Proposed Solution

Could you please make sure the app doesn't stop playing when you turn off the video/sleep, or prevent these two things when it's active, as it does in the browser

could you elaborate a bit on what you mean by this? The "sleep" or "hibernate" button on desktop puts the system to sleep, which pauses all programs that are running. Are you running windows?

prevent screen suspension while playing music, yes I'm using Windows and option to keep the player on on the lock screen would also be nice

Did you managed to find a solution ? When my windows goes to sleep it just stop playing

Also have this issue! If I use youtube on chrome, my laptop would keep music playing. But using the wrapper, after it goes to sleep the music turns off as well.

Until a working plugin is available, you can use Econap. It has a mode that prevents sleep mode from occurring when audio is active, and you can also add a specific process.
