Yep, I also have the same issue (request).
Supporting this, also would love to avoid saving .lrc files instead of embedding those lyrics in the FLAC files directly.
Yes, this is very much needed!
Is this still relevant? If so, what is blocking it? Is there anything you can do to help move it forward?
This issue has been automatically marked as stale because it has not had recent activity. It will be closed if no further activity occurs.
Still relevant, if one loves lyrics.
It's a shame it is missing such a basic feature. This is the only thing that is preventing me to make the switch.

It was a simple fix and I managed to fix it myself, and built it for Windows. Do you want the fix as well? Send DM on telegram and I will send the zipped fix. Maybe I will open a PR later.
Thanks, @LogicalLokesh , for the offer to send an improved version. I however face bigger issues with #313 , so I'm not even really able to use Nora at all. So the lyrics are not much trouble if you can barely operate the app because Nora can't handle mid-to-big-size libraries :) .
@enoversum Totally understand, that sounds frustrating. I just checked out issue #313—yeah, that’s a bigger blocker for sure. Hopefully that gets some attention soon, Once that’s sorted, if you're still interested in embedded lyrics support, I’ll be happy to share the fix or open a PR by then.
@LogicalLokesh Ah, that's very kind, thank you! If your fix indeed solves the problem, I suppose the dev(s?) wouldn't mind a PR anyway, regardless of the issue with bigger libraries?
Given the current timing, I don't suppose they'll fix that and rewrite the JSON approach to something different too soon. They don't owe me anything, so that's fine, and I suspect it's a longer process to fix this.

Still pretty much relevant.
