I was reading your very interesting book and I was wondering if you will continue the book
Leave this book , i have been waiting for him to finish this book for over an year. I give Up now. I found better tutorials here http://wiki.osdev.org/Main_Page
And they are better than this book, covers a lot of much deeper concepts and there is a good forum.

Sometimes projects just die. Its no biggie. Feel free to pick up where the developer left off, people will be grateful and you might get a following.
You could fork the repo and start contributing. Then if you post a pull request, chances are the owner will pick them up. Otherwise, just continue on your own copy, maybe create a different project. As long as the license is identical, there is no problem. If you want a different license, check out FSF.org for which licenses are compatible.

Sorry, It's been some crazy time since I was working both on Codebox and GitBook, but I'll now be more focus on GitBook and I'll do my best to continue this book in the next months.
