lock button
I have lock button (HTTPLock) in the same room with homebridge-videodoorbell . But it does not occur below of video. Why?
Only motion sensor will show camera notification automatically but button you will have to set automatization by your self.
it is in the project description:
If the same (HomeKit) room containing this camera also has a Lock mechanism accessory, the notification will show a working UNLOCK button. HomeKit/iOS will link them together automatically when they are in the same room.
I have homebridge-videodoorbell camera accessory with motion sensor and lock button in the same room. Push notification working. But there is no UNLOCK button.
It was working when I wrote this plugin but there are a lot changes in homekit since then. Maybe it is just not supported anymore.
Just wanted to leave a comment. Seems like its not sending a snapshot reliably when the door bell is triggered. I just get a notification that the doorbell rang. Sometimes I do see a snapshot, and am able to see the Lock accessory thats in the same room as the doorbell camera.
It seems like a problem with your setup. If the cam reacts too slow homekit sends only a notification without a snapshot. You could try reducing the resolution or use the stillImageSource.
Actually I just caught the issue in my setup before I saw this. I had the wrong rtsp URL for my stillImageSource. Once I fixed that, it seems to be working great. Thanks!
Now to figure out how to get a doorbell notification from my analog video doorbell.....
I am also having trouble getting the unlock button to appear. I have linked a separate doorbell sensor to the video doorbell, so the notification pops up with no problem when I press the doorbell button. However, the door lock is in the same room in Homekit and it doesn't show up with the notification as an "unlock" button.

I do not know if I actually can fix it from my side but I will have a look at it.

Does the lock show up when you tap the "Nearby Accessories" button when viewing the camera from within the home app itself? If not try adding it and see if it shows up in the preview?
I've switched to the homebridge-camera-ffmpeg plugin, since I'm using it for other cameras already. They have added a doorbell option to the settings there. It has been working well for me.
Hello all, I have the same problem that there is no Unlock button. Maybe Apple has changed something here. I have attached a few pictures. This is how it currently looks for me.
Seems to be there are some Homekit UI Changes and there no way to see Unlock button on preview right?
