HomePage Implementation

Description

There should be a HomePage after logging in or when a new user registers. This page will provide a quick guide about the app and its features.

Details

• Home Section:

  • Upon signing in, users currently see sections for Messages, Search, About, and Settings.
  • We propose adding a new Home section where users can:
    • View a list of all their friends.
    • See each friend's name, profile picture, and status.
    • Status can include an emoji or a thought to make it playful.

• Search Functionality:

  • When searching for users, the search results should not display users' email addresses to maintain privacy.

Acceptance Criteria

• A HomePage is visible after logging in or registering a new account.
• The Home section displays friends' names, profile pictures, and statuses.
• The search functionality does not reveal users' email addresses.

This new HomePage aims to enhance the user experience by providing an engaging and informative starting point upon login or registration.
