Where does data come from?
First: thanks for a nice and informative one :-) Second: does Your plugin get data from zha_map neighbour files in HA? Third: If yes then seems that zha_map gives false LQI readings vs ZHA and real world :-( GitHub issue filed... Fourth: could You please explain in readme.md LQI thresholds (visible in source) and colors (also visible in source code). Fifth: What does a padlock symbol indicate on devices/routers etc.? Last but not the least: Thanks again :-) Best, JR
- You're very welcome. Zigzag v2 is in the final stages (It'll have zoom/pan and is faster).
- Yes.
- :(. As it happens, there have been a whole bunch of changes in HA ZHA/Zigpy so that all these features are now in there. Not sure if the LQI issue persists. As I understand it, LQI can vary a lot from one message to the next, I do not believe that the values are updated often in the zha_map (or now zigpy), nowhere near realtime ...
- Initially I was going to have user configurable LQI thresholds & Colours as well as user configurable Icons & colours. I ran into some issues with making Zigzag a custom card and getting the editor to work and never figured out how to do the same for a panel. Zigzag v2 will use colours from the HA theme.
- When you drag a Zig around, it gets "locked" in position (Hence the lock symbol). The idea was to have a background floorplan and be able to lay out the Zigs on it like this
... locked means that it will not be automatically moved by the layout engine. Also when you navigate away from the page (tho not if the tab is just closed) the positions will be saved and restored when you come back.
The ver 2 looks very promising Samantha !!! I think I need doing one cad of my apartment so i can placing my active devices there they is belonging before you is releasing it :-))))
Thanks @MattWestb, but that is from v1. If you put an svg file in your local folder (the www folder) like this (home assistant www folder)/zigzag/background.svg It should appear :)
@Samantha-uk That all sounds great! 👍 👍 Looking forward to Zigzag v2 😃
PS: Off-topic: You will hopefully soon need to add unique links for ZGP (Zigbee Green Power) devices as well -> https://github.com/zigpy/zigpy/pull/519
