Can't Add or edit scripts

I just downloaded Today Scripts for the first time.

I have the "Welcome" notification which I can't edit, and when I try to hit the +Add button no new script is added.

@TheRojam clearly this project is abandoned. @SamRothCA last made a commit over 1 year ago and they have no other recent projects on github.

I remember that I had the same problem with one of the forks of Today-Scripts just I that dont remember which one. I am using this one here by falkvw and it work with no issues, the same for the background colors, they looks nice. Im running Sierra 10.12.5
