[bug] an additional marker remains displayed on the map

Sometimes, a marker remains displayed on the map.
This bug does not occur systematically and is associated with the following error in the browser console:

TypeError: right-hand side of 'in' should be an object, got undefined

The page must be refreshed to remove this additional marker.
